We can pursue traditional control transactions as well as growth equity and turnarounds. We are particularly interested in growing niche businesses where the company currently has or has the potential to be a dominant supplier in the niche in which it competes. Our approach is to work with our operating partners and managers of these companies to create equity value by increasing the profitability of a business over time. Investment returns are not driven by financial engineering but are the result of sustained operating profit growth. We utilize a seasoned set of financial and operating skills to achieve this goal. We have had particular success with sellers who are concerned with legacy issues: family businesses, business confidentiality or business culture that is integral to the ongoing success of the business.
